New Norcia Weekend Retreat with Caroline Coggins
28th to 30th November 2008
3rd November

Weekend Yoga Retreat with Caroline Coggins

Weekend Yoga Retreat Mostly we do yoga by fitting it around our very busy lives. Perhaps at moments in class or practice we drop below to the vast silence which lives at the core of our existence. We do our yoga to help deal with many things, our physical, mental and emotional difficulties, but remembering the silence is also part of this journey, dealing with life. On retreat if only for a few days, leaving behind our normal lives, with the focus on our yoga we can glimpse the sense of other, something beyond our busy-ness, and can prioritise this other dimension, tune in and be nourished. Certainly in our culture we can lose track of where we going. Taking the time out can help us to remember.

Caroline Coggins
Caroline holds a Senior Intermediate teaching certificate and has been teaching in Sydney for over 27 years, having come to yoga from a background as an osteopath. She has visited and worked with the Iyengars many times and currently also works as a psychotherapist in private practice. Caroline also takes annual retreats to Bali.
